more than 740 miles of hiking trails in the park, there are numerous

Bar W Guest Ranch:
At the Bar W Guest Ranch, horses are the center of attention and riding is our main activity. Safety is our number one priority. We choose your horse based on your riding ability, and we begin with a detailed horse orientation. We offer rides ranging from one hour to all day, as well as horsemanship lessons and learning to barrel race. Depending on the conditions and duration of your ride you will travel through wooded forests with overlooks of the Flathead Valley, Stillwater Valley, and Glacier National Park. All rides are led by our DRA certified wranglers.

is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit founded in 1983 by passionate scientists who wanted to share their love of the Crown of the Continent ecosystem. Our instructors are recognized experts in their fields, published authors, wildlife biologists, college professors, naturalists and teachers. Our classrooms are the mountain trails and vast river basins that are home to more than 1,200 species of native plants, 240 species of birds and 64 species of native mammals!
